The brief Launched in 2010, India Bridal Fashion Week (IBFW) is the most opulent and highest profile fashion week in India. It leads the fashion industry through creative influence and is strategically repositioning Indian fashion in the global fashion economy. The bridal couture wear is the most profitable segment for the Indian fashion Industry. IBFW wanted to create their own brand of wedding stores that sold luxury bridalwear at affordable prices. Awchat and Olsen Design were asked to create the new identity for the brand.
The approach Awchat and Olsen Design worked with the India Bridal Fashion Week team to develop the brand identity for the wedding store, that will represent the elegance, glamour, and luxury of the IBFW events. With use of a luxurious colour palette, and use high quality materials and packaging, we created an iconic identity for an iconic event.
