The brief Chambor is a beauty brand started in 90s with the aim of making premium make up accessible to the refined Indian Woman. With a bid to attract the younger millennial audience, Chambor approached Awchat/Olsen to launch their new affordable range of make up.
The approach The main premise was to showcase a range of 24 matte shades made for the young, millennial girl and to initiate a departure from being a brand associated with a more mature target audience. The challenge was to ensure that Chambor begins its new journey as a relevant and trendy brand of today, without alienating the loyal Chambor customer.
Post a deep dive into the category, Awchat/Olsen coined the name Matte Riot. The name reflected the casual and trendy positioning of offering a wide range of youth centric shades.
Awchat/Olsen worked on the branding, packaging, retail activation as well as a film for the digital launch.
