Nama is a new entrant to the cat food segment. The direct-to-customer brand aims to disrupt the category by offering premium quality cat food at an affordable price point. Made in Japan, the brand promises high quality ingredients.
The approachNama was a name that means 'raw' in Japanese. This name was coined to connect with the brand's USP - fresh, high quality fish from Japan, and canned immediately with state-of-the-art canning processes to retain nutrients. Awchat and Olsen designed the packaging to standout on the digital marketplace. Considering the small visible space available on the primary packaging, we developed a typographic-led design, supported by a striking colour palette. This helped the brand stand out on the digital shelf from all the other brands.
