The brief Born is a luxury kidswear brand. It makes natural, and organic kidswear with a distinctive french style.
The Indo-french spirit of the brand is about spontaneity, freedom and love. Awchat Olsen was asked to translate the designers vision into a go-to-market strategy and launch.
The approach Awchat worked on the research, positioning, naming, branding and art direction for Born. The entire brand DNA was developed around a brand manifesto that reflected the brand ethos and values. The manifesto was further translated into every brand touchpoint. The logo was based on the Indian Vedic concept of a birth star. Using a distinctive colour palette, imagery and illustration style, we created a magical and chic brand universe that reflected the ethos of the brand.
