The brief Halo is a healthy fruit snack brand for the young health-conscious urbanite. Made by freezing fruit, it contains no chemicals or preservatives. Awchat and Olsen Design was tasked with the naming, branding, packaging and website design.
The approach Starting with the name, we positioned the brand to reflect a fun, healthy snack for the young urbanite. Post auditing the health food shelves across three metros in organised retail stores, we decided to move away from using the usual category cliche of using earthy palettes, brown paper and a minimal look. By using a distinctive logo, playful typography, upfront product proposition, and a unique colour palette, we were able to make the brand stand out both online and on the digital shelves. The website also brings this unique visual language to play with playful UI accentuated with striking illustrations and a unique tone of voice.
